Cyprus Cabinet Approves New Circular Economy Plan for Hotels

The Cypriot Cabinet has endorsed a new initiative, proposed by the Deputy Ministry of Tourism, to advance the circular economy within the hotel and tourist accommodation sector for 2026–2029. This plan aims to integrate sustainable business practices, optimize resource utilization, reduce waste, and improve the competitiveness of tourism enterprises through various measures including consulting services, training, and research. This program continues a previous measure under the Recovery and Resilience Plan and is a joint effort with the Federation of Employers and Industrialists.
